Hydraulic accumulators

Hydraulic accumulators are used to store hydraulic energy inside the hydraulic system, in the form of a working fluid under high pressure. Accumulators are most often the basis for one of the most important elements of hydraulic power – the safety system. They are used in hydraulic systems to enable pulsation damping and maintain the correct working pressure in the hydraulic system, and thus increase the efficiency of the system, relieve hydraulic lines and extend the period of failure-free operation of the system. The hydroaccumulator can also be used to provide higher hydraulic pressure at the time of periodic, increased demand in the system when the accumulator releases fluid under high pressure to the system elements supplying hydraulic machines.
